The Club House
We are proud of our clubhouse and the excellent facilities it provides to members, their guests and visitors. It was built when we first moved to Stisted in 1973 and modernised in 2001. It contains comfortable changing rooms, a spacious main lounge and dining room, a smaller casual bar and a Conference Suite.
If you enjoy a relaxing drink and a quiet chat after a game, then the main lounge is the place for you. There is a magnificent view of the course from the patio.
If you enjoy golfing banter and like to talk sport, then the casual bar is the place for you. At weekends and summer evenings it is where the swindles analyse their golf and debate the best football teams in the land.
You can expect the best from our caterers Jo & Peter (BGC Catering Essex) and their staff will always give you a warm and friendly welcome.
Peter and his bar staff always provide a friendly face and help members to relax in the comfortable atmosphere of our bar and lounge areas.
Jo, our head chef ably assisted by Richard and Harry, provide cooked breakfasts every day of the week and a full snack and light meal menu throughout the day.
Jo's carvery lunch most Sunday's is a major attraction for members and the chance for their families to enjoy the club.
As a members club, we endeavour to provide the high standards of service that our members expect. We strive to do the same for our visitors and guests.
